HOW TO GET HERE

HOW TO GET HERE

There are several ways to get here:

• Flying in from Oslo Gardemoen Airport to Harstad-Narvik (Evenes) Airport

From the airport you can rent a car and drive approximately 2 hours drive. We recommend car renting from Sixt as they generally have excellent service and prices from our experience.

Alternatively Airport buses can take you into Narvik. From there collective traffic buses go daily, but pretty scarce, and will take you within a few kilometers from the Centre.

From Narvik-Harstad (Evenes) Airport there are also shuttle buses that take you to a ferry crossing the fjord to Kjeldebotn Harbour. From there it is a one hour drive to the Centre. This requires a pick up by car for the last kilometers. State in your request that you would like to add a pickup, and we may be able to arrange one from Kjeldebotn via our network.

• Flying in from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Kiruna Airport

Ticket fees from Stockholm are lower and renting  a car in Sweden is generally less expensive than in Norway. It adds extra miles to drive, its 263 km from Kiruna via Narvik to the Centre. In return you can do your grocery shopping in Kiruna which will save you money compared to shop for the week in the Norwegian stores.

• Train Stockholm-Narvik

Over night trains leave daily from Stockholm Central to Narvik. The trip takes 19 hours and arrives around noon. From Narvik you can rent a car that can be waiting for you at the station or, if you travel light, catch a bus to Skarberget and walk the last bit.
